Description
The Arch Rock is found in the Valley Of Fire State Park in Nevada. There is a scenic Loop Road that is easy to travel. The large sandstone mounds and formations are breathtaking. Gives one a sense of prehistoric times.
The state park derives its name from red Aztec Sandstone that brilliantly stands out for miles against white sand and a washed landscape. It was designated as a National Natural Landmark in 1968 and is Nevada’s oldest and largest state park. It's 46,000 acres worth of large.
