Description
Arizona 288 is a lightly used scenic road that travels from Arizona 188 near Roosevelt Dam to Young, AZ. The road is primarily a dirt highway, with some paved sections, and is narrow and winding. Not for the faint of heart.
I took this photograph of the highway and mountain peaks as we were descending into the Roosevelt Lake area. Arizona has such majestic views that constantly change as the day progresses.
